These tonnes of this crop at this moisture, stored this many days on an elevator receipt: the most each elevator near you may charge, from its company's filed maximums. Delivered to the elevator (not returned to you): elevation, drying when the grain is over straight grade, storage after the first 10 days, cleaning if you ask.

How it works

  • Every line is the company's filed maximum: what it may charge, at most. It may charge less.
  • Tough or damp comes from the Grain Commission's moisture table for the crop.
  • Some companies file drying per tenth of a point of moisture over straight grade, on top of elevation; a few add a minimum drying charge a tonne. Both are applied as filed.
  • A charge filed as a percentage of the grain's price, or without a stated unit, isn't guessed: that elevator's result says it can't be fully worked out.
  • Distance is straight-line, to find what's near; your haul cost is your own figure, the same for every elevator.
  • Grain prices and bids are not on this site. About the data
